I installed this product, and initially it worked great. Within 3 months the plastic broke that clips to the door. the tab that goes on the spring is also made with cheap hard plastic that broke. Where ever the plastic encases the string, it breaks. Do not buy.

J'ai un modèle Kenmore fabriqué par Bosch. Je n'arrivais pas à trouver le numéro de pièce, mon appareil a 10 ans. C'est par la photo sur Amazon que j'ai trouvé une similitude. Cette est de qualité supérieure. Il y a moins de plastique dans sa fabrication.

Broken after 3 months of use. The door started falling down I guess one side of the spring is broken. Few days later suddenly heard a loud sound when opening the door I think the other spring also broken…no good. Buying replacement from another brand to try..

The orginal spring lasted about 2 years. Design flaw?? The Bausch dishwasher is also a pile of garbage.I gave them 2 stars because they fit correctly and were easy to install.

Thanks to the photo of the side of the dishwasher & product measurements I was able to confirm that this IS the replacement for our LG dishwasher. Our LG has the rear slot to use just slightly rearward of the oem plastic plate lock in. Metal plate should last longer as our plastic spring plate is what failed, not the string. Make sure to pull out your dishwasher first & measure before ordering. Hope this helps other LG owners.

This was a very quick and easy replacement for a faulty door spring on our Bosch SHE53TF5UC dishwasher. I googled an installation video and followed it and it took about 5-10 minutes to replace both springs. Super easy. The dishwasher door now works perfectly and holds itself in place again.

This is the second set I purchased as the first one failed after a couple of months. I thought the first one was a fluke, try another, right? Well, we got an extra month out of the second set. Pretty frustrated and wanted to talk to the seller but there has been no resolution. Frustrating. You should probably consider another product as this is poorly manufactured.

Easy replacement for a broken tension spring in a Bosch Dishwasher. Build seems better than the OEM product. Took all of 5 minutes to install.
