Techniglass uses a proprietary diamond bonding technique to layer diamonds to the metal for a more uniform result. The design improves bit performance by reducing the amount of vibrations transmitted through the glass which produce fatigue cracks. One inch diameter bits do not inchbite inch into the glass quite as much as 3/4 inch diameter bits, creating straighter edges and gentler curves. Ultra fine bit is ideal for delicate glass, such as dichroic, mirror and antique, to prevent chipping. Also an excellent edge finisher for fusing pieces.
