It worked on my 5 drawer US General tool box. I thought it was too long but it worked, I did have to use my old lever and snug up the bolt to hold lever in place but it worked. I was going to send it back but rigged it up to work, that’s why the 3 stars.

Its just a basic lock, it works fine and fits my purpose. It seems a tiny bit looser than I like but ti works fine. The key falls out if you leave it in the lock without turning it. But why buy a lock if your going to leave the key in it?

Make sure you get the right style for your latch. I made it work but I know there’s got to be a better one out there.

Mechanism is loose and be careful tightening it easily strips!

The lock on my tool cart at work jammed up and this one fits like a glove. Hard item to find in any store. My only other option was to order from manufacturer for 3 times the cost of this one.
