10259B Engine Actuator Compressor Assembly Tool

  • Replace Part for 10259B / 10259A. A professional repair tool for your engine.
  • Constructed of high quality heavy duty stainless steel, durable, sturdy and anti-corrosion, ensure long term use
  • Install & remove the variable valve actuator assembly on a Fiat Multiair engine. This is also valid for the turbo engine.

Exampe for 2.4L Multiair/Cylinder Head/ASSEMBLY

Step 1

Unlock and disconnect the oil temperature sensor harness connector & Disengage the oil temperature harness connector from the bracket

Step 2

Unlock and disconnect the four Variable Valve Actuation Assembly wire harness connectors

Step 3

Remove the four indicated bolts from the Variable Valve Actuation Assembly in the sequence shown

Exampe for 2.4L Multiair/Cylinder Head/ASSEMBLY

Step 4

  • Position the four compressor assemblies (1) at the 2.4L markings.
  • Position the two stops (2) at the 2.4L markings.
  • Loosen the compressor assemblies (1) to fit over the VVAA valve and spring assemblies (clockwise rotation).

Step 5

  • Install the Compressor 10259B (1) to the Variable Valve Actuation Assembly
  • Tighten the compressor assemblies (2) until the valve springs are fully compressed

Step 6

  • Remove the two indicated bolts (1) and install the Alignment Pins
  • Remove the remaining four bolts (2) from the VVAA
  • Remove the VVAA, with the 10259B Spring Compressor tool attached, from the cylinder head
