Living in Florida, many of the trips in our coach happen in relatively warm climates. We got this heated sewer hose in anticipation of camping in cold weather with a concern for freezing. We got a heated water supply hose and this to ensure no problems. Temperatures only got down to the mid 30's so we didn't get to really test things out but the cover is very high quality and does warm up nicely. Be sure to get the length you think you'll need where you camp.

I love in the south so we do not get a lot of freezing weather but we are currently in our second round for this winter and so I decided to try this and let me say its not the easiest to get on the hose but once you do and get it all hooked up it does work well at keeping the sewer hose from freezing. I have had to dump my black tank once and my grey tank twice during this weather and it worked great.

Thinking this product would solve my freezing up problem and neither the 15ft nor the 20ft one I purchased works. Total waste of money. I wished I could give this lower than a 1 star but it will not let me. As you can see from the photos…. Frozen solid b/c brand new straight out of the box did not even work.

This heated sewer hose sleeve is made of high quality materials and very strong velcro. I have had no issues with it at all.

Hard to install but we installed it when it was really cold, buy extra zip ties the ones supplied are crappy half broke or didn't even secure it when using them. Works great so far.
