About this item

  • 1. DIN Rail optional 16 channels relay interface modules.
  • 2. 1 NO&NC independent relay module.
  • 3. Switching current upto 10A at 250VAC or 30VDC
  • 4. Input connections by screw terminal block.NPN&PNP in common use, AC&DC in common use.
  • 5. Relay status indicator LED,surge suppression protection and overvoltage protection are provided for each relay channel.

Relay Modulesis used for PLC output load current amplification and isolation protection, and installed in the digital output terminal of PLC,MCU industrial control board, time relay, buttons and other controllers. It amplifies the output current of the output terminalfor high-power equipment and weak current control, to protect the control system not being damaged.

As long as you're ok with the relays being soldered on this is a great buy. The DIN bracket is strong and very securely attacked to the board, the terminals are well marked and color coded, LED indicators for every channel, very clear silk screening. Arrived sealed in a bag inside a strong outer carton. No flux residue or other signs of poor finishing, good solder joints.

This board is great for isolating control voltage signals from the higher voltage devices to be controlled. Husband has been trying to explain this to me for the last ten minutes, and I'm not sure I understand any of it, but here goes. This device has relays, that are used to power up something more substantial, using something like a Raspberry Pi. It's a well made board that snaps onto a DIN rail, which makes it convenient to mount when in use.

If you need to fill an entire low current PLC output module with dry contacts, this relay module works well for that. Used on a 24VDC system, the isolated inputs do not need any sort of flyback protection as the inductive loads are on the other side of the isolation. This is really convenient for tight spaces where a diode board will not fit. Built in LED's provide quick reference of which relays are energized. The one issue I struggled with, and you may too, is that the inputs are labeled clearly on the PCB, but the COM, NO, NC contacts are not labeled on the board. At first I was a bit frustrated over this, upon closer examination, the contacts are labeled on the terminal strips on the wire-facing side, so they aren't obvious.

This is one nice piece of relay board. It is really well designed and put together. Everything is laid out nicely and clean. It looks like a complete work of art. I havne't had a chance to wire it up and test it, but based on the quality of the build I don't have any doubts. The one thing I feel like it is missing is activator buttons for each. A lot of my singular relays allow you activate it with a button.

I'm going 4 stars with reservations. Since the module seems well-built, as long as you read my review and understand the limitations, this is a good relay module. If you need to control things at up to 10 A (and only 30 VDC, though AC is rated 250 VAC), this module mounts handily on a DIN rail, and has everything all integrated into a module that keeps things neat and tidy. The price is fairly modest, at least when I ordered it; I doubt I could purchase 16 comparable relays themselves for less. There is really not much complicated to this module. There is no "gain"; the inputs pull sufficient current to actuate the coil, and light an LED. This means about 15 mA of current is required for each relay control input (the product page says 5 mA -- that is incorrect). It might have been nice to have a single 24 V power input, and have the control inputs be high impedance. There is a bridge rectifier on each coil. Also there is a diode across the coil which appears to absorb the inductive kick from turning off the relay coil. And you get an LED for each relay, telling you if the control input is active. The LED being on does NOT mean the coil is actuating the relay however. It just indicates that voltage is being applied to the control input. For instance, my unit required about 16 V to actuate the relay. But the LED started turning on at around 8 V.***** SummaryHere's the good stuff...You can actuate the relay coils from DC of either polarity, or AC.An LED tells you when voltage is applied to the control input.I measured 0.018 Ohms contact resistance (at the relay contact terminal strip). There is no stated spec on this, but it seems reasonable for a 10 A rated contact. The relay contact terminals have alternating white/green colors; this helps make it clear which relay you're connecting a wire too. Nice! Here are some things that you might view as downsides, depending on your application...The coil (and the LED) draw significant current from the control input. You could model it as close to a 1.6k resistor, though it is somewhat non-linear (but it's a pretty good approximation around 24 V).The LED can be on, but the relay may still not be actuated. The relay contact terminals have a SPDT switch icon to label them, but it's tiny and hard to read. It'd be nicer if there were a silkscreen label for each terminal, as there is for each control input terminal.

The Good BNTai 16 Channel Interface Relay Module is perfect for my application. The device fits on a DIN rail and has contacts that are easy to use.I need both the NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) functions. My Solar power control devices provide DC voltage to trigger the operation of appliances based on the current and battery levels. I can use this to turn on irrigation pumps when there is abundant power and to prevent the operation of an air conditioner when the power is not available. It is well designed, easy to use, and does what I want it to do.

there is often not enough space for wireing in a output module this board fixes that also if you need mixed 24V and relay out puts then this board is the solution.

I’m using this to create a 16-zone sprinkler controller for both spray and drip irrigation. Requires discrete signals for each relay, no decoders are included. But easy to interface to Arduino or ESP32.
