I posted a picture of the gap in the tack weld on the seam. I took it through the plastic because I was thinking about sending it back. Decided to use it until I got another one in. If you’re ok with a viable seam then no worries. The outer trim on a 1972 hides it some. I thought it might be better quality than the others due to the price. I was wrong.

Not impressed and will likely return them. My old rings are one solid piece while these are joined with spot welds in the middle. No good for a truck that I show.

Ring is 1/2" too thick and the bolt holes do not line up.
