So far so good. Had a little trouble plugging the 4 prong plug into it all the way but eventually got it... not sure why but I won't hold this against it because I'm not sure it's the adapter's fault.

I never thought they would make something like this!I moved into a duplex apt 5 yrs ago with a dryer that I didn’t want to use because it was at least 15yrs old and gas. I already owned a brand new Kenmore electric dryer and was forced to store it because it had 4 prongs. I was only given the choice of a 3 prong wall plug, ugh.I stumbled upon this WONDERFUL ADAPTER and had great reviews so I had a plumber friend disconnect the gas line to the landlord’s dryer and was able to hook up my electric dryer!I have told a few friends about these adapters and they never thought that they were available(they can only be purchased on Amazon as far as I can tell)Thank you for this GREAT device!

This hookup is a great alternative instead of the cost to rewire a four prong electrical outlet for a three prong dryer cord. Simple to install and works just fine.

Moved into my new home and realized that the plug for my dryer didn't match. Ordered this converter piece and it arrived the next day. I was nervous about grounding it but nonetheless it worked and im still alive lol. Couldn't find at home depot or Lowes in my location. Worth every penny.
