Nice design. Comfortable in the hand. Works as described. The cracker part is metal, well enough made and sturdy, with a smooth finish. The handles are plastic, elegantly thin, and look like they could be easily broken. I had to file a burr off the projection inside of each handle so that the jaws of the cracker would meet. OK for the price, but I can't recommend as a long lasting tool. If I need to buy again I will look for all-metal, or at least sturdier construction.
