Having never used a tripod for any of my photography, these have been a game changer. With a quality camera, I've been able to take some pretty decent shots, but these really do help you take it to the next level. I wasn't sure that my camera was going to be compatible, but that ended up being a non-issue. It was extremely easy to get my camera attached and set up. Basically all of my photography is with plants, and these tripods are like having an extra set of hands. I no longer have to stop, set my camera down, adjust my plant, and then grab my camera again. It's such a simple thing that makes me feel kind of dumb for not doing sooner. I also worried about everything becoming top heavy, but these have worked flawlessly. The adjustable height gives me a lot of play and also allows me to lower everything for more stability. Like I said, I'm kicking myself for not taking the leap sooner than I did. This is a great price point for what you get. They're incredibly worth it.

When the brand is one I am not familiar with I tend to expect the worst. The stands themselves have some weight and are fairly heavy duty. I do have some concern about the tightening handles being plastic but we will see. The stands are also multifunctional, I can see these getting used for many things not intended for. Easy to use.
