Not a cheap ‘gun cabinet’ that will be easily broken into like the ones in any discount store. That being said, if a thief really wants in bad enough they will get inside, but they are going to have to work hard for this one! The extra bolts at the top and bottom will make the door harder to open. Good price point for the amount of protection

I bought this safe because I needed to store my guns, but I had little closet space in our home. I' very satisfied with the quality and functionality of this safe. The user manual's instructions were simple. I followed the warranty registration and was able to receive a free door storage bag that attaches inside of safe's door panel.

Appears to be pretty much the same safe as about 8 others on Amazon. Construction is fine. Space is nowhere near being able to store 5 guns unless you remove the optics everytime you store them. The door will not close with optics installed and the rifles turned as depicted in the photos. It's OK but would maybe go to your nearest Tractor Supply and spend a little more.

The safe was packaged well and easy to set up. There are pre-drilled mounting holes to use to secure the safe. Use four new AA batteries and scan the same finger more than once so that the fingerprints can be recognized from different angles. The safe comes with an external interface battery back-up access. The safe can also be opened with a code and a key. Adding your own motion sensing light is a good addition to the interior of the safe. There is an internal keyed storage box. The floor and door are carpeted. The display includes current time, humidity, temperature, and remaining battery power. Overall this is a well built 85 pound safe with a number of useful features.

Great little safe with easy to use locking mechanism. Includes anchor bolts that I'll use to secure it to the wall and floor. The additional lockbox inside feels unnecessary - probably could have been better utilized as an adjustable shelf - but could be a nice feature for someone.Lots of internal space for such a compact safe. It's not the heaviest duty safe I've ever owned, but once secured in place, should serve it's purpose very well.

I purchased this safe looking mostly for something that would keep kids and other curious folk away from my firearms. This may not be the most secure safe but it's certainly better than the other offerings on Amazon, and it's appropriately priced for what you get. Let's go through pros/cons:Pros:- Good enough size for perhaps a couple long guns with optics, maybe a few more if they don't have optics.- The added pistol rest is a nice touch- Having one shelf is nice to keep things separated- Single construction, no assembly required. Huge pro as many other Amazon safes require extensive assembly.- Keypad entry works well, backup battery is a nice touch just in case.- Added hardware for mounting to the floor/wallCons:- No fire protection- Fairly thin construction for a "safe". This is more like a heavily secured and thicker locker. Anyone with an angle grinder and a couple minutes would be into this. But this safe is good if you just need to keep things away from the people in your house who shouldn't have access (kids, etc) or just for keeping items more covert and hidden- Biometric entry works most of the time, but sometimes it does take a couple attempts.Overall I'm very happy with it, especially considering the price point. This will keep your items safe and out of sight, but within easy access as needed. Definitely one of the much better safes offered on Amazon.

Very easy to install and secure! This safe fits perfectly in the space that I need it to and I will be bolting it to the wall with the supplied hardware shortly. It has plenty of room inside and the small lockbox is perfect for delicate items that need a little extra security. The digital lock is super fast with fingerprints and very easy to initialize. Having an secondary unlocking method by way of the security key gives piece of mind if the digital lock has a malfunction. In addition the safe comes with a battery backup device if you run down the internal batteries.
