These aren't metal plates at all. They are some kind of cheap plastic laminate that is paper-thin, on a non-removable paper backing. Absolute garbage.

Only reason why they didn't get a five-star review is because they're so flimsy it's hard to carve anything on them with even a Dremel

Used these to brand some cornhole boards I made. I was surprised how thin and flimsy these were. The adhesive is poor quality, I was glad to have the screws as they're the only thing holding these labels to the board.

Such a great product to make a trophy or plaque! Only comment is that the screws are silver and the plaques are gold which might not be the look everyone is looking for.

These are great to use for laser engraving, and I have been having fun playing around with them. I have engraved them for name plates for many different things around the house and garage, and they look amazing. I love the color, and they engrave well. You can attach these with either the adhesive backing or by screwing on through the side holes. I mostly use the adhesive backing, and they seem to be sticking well.I highly recommend these!

These are very nicely made and solid even though they are thin they don't bend easily. That isn't saying you won't bend them but you have to try to do it....***NOTICE**** You WILL NOT be able to engrave these with a diode laser or at least one under 20 watt optical output. You should plan on either tool engraving or Co2 / Fiber laser to engrave. Even my Top Shelf 20 watt diode at full power the engraving was light. The gold coating is SUPER Solid!!!! Ergo I expect it to be very scratch resistant and a great item for our custom car builds. I will be using my 50 watt fiber laser to engrave these for application to our 6 figure builds.....
