This 8 Inch Electric Pole Chainsaw for Tree Trimming works really well blowing through the limbs while trimming out a large oak tree. It does take 2 to 3 hours to charge the battery and the kit only comes with one battery so it looses 1 star for having to wait for it to recharge to resume working on trimming your tree's. Otherwise this is well made and the pole is well designed and sturdy while using.

This pole saw is great if you’re looking for an efficient way to trim and cut down tree branches. It's just what I needed after our last storm. The 8-inch blade provides plenty of power to cut through even the thickest branches and the 15-foot extension pole lets you reach areas that would be difficult or impossible to access otherwise. In addition, it is lightweight and easy to operate, which is also a big plus for me. I’m very happy with my purchase!

This 2-in-1 Cordless Pole Saw manufactured by Xilpo is, quite frankly, a very good value. It is versatile, easy to assemble, relatively powereful and light enough that my 71 year old wife was able to trim a large cedar tree, cutting branches up to 3" in diamter with little effort. Once you're finished using the pole pruner to reach otherwise inaccessible tree limbs, you can simply detach the mini-chainsaw and cut the branches into more manageable lengths. I also like the oiler, not every cordless mini chainsaw, or cordless pruning saw come with a self-oiler, something I learned decades ago with numerous chainsaws, prolongs the chain life and makes them cut more effectively. I also appreciate the fact that the battery is compatable with Makita and similar tools, or which I have several. Interoperability of batteries is, at least for me, a prerequisite for cordless tools. I got tired of every tool needing a unique battery AND charger. So given the cost/benefit analysis of this Xilpo cordless pole saw, I'll rate it 4 stars. If it doesn't hold up over time I'll revise this rating.

This pole saw is incredibly powerful! We've been doing some serious work on our property, trimming and taking down white oak trees and branches. As we all know, white oaks are extremely resilient and difficult to cut through. But this amazing saw has been cutting through them smoothly and consistently day after day without any problems. It's not just worth the money we paid for it; it actually offers even more value than we expected. I'm thoroughly impressed!

This is an 8-in extendable pole saw, but you have to attach each extension, instead of it having a telescoping pole. So it's a little more work to put it all together, once it is all together it's about 8.6 ft long. They say it has 15 ft of reach, which obviously it doesn't, but they are counting your height as part of the reach. It only comes with one two amp hour battery, and cheaper style charger. And honestly it's not all that powerful. Even cutting small stuff you really got to let the blade do the work, any downward pressure and it just seems like it stops. The chains adjusted correctly, it is oiled, they claim it has a self-oiler, but it does not, it has a primer bulb to oil the chain with. It does have an oil tank on it, it is quite small, but with the primer bulb you can easily oil to chain. It's just not self-wiling like it stated. And if all you need is a chainsaw, you can just hook the battery to the bottom of the chainsaw itself, and now it's handheld. So it has some good things, but I think it's missing some features. Build quality is just okay, the extension pulls are metal with plastic ends, it is a very shiny black plastic, I didn't expect it to be too strong, but I did hit it with a hammer a few times and it did not break. And you are able to position the head of the extension pole to get the chain blade at different angles. And it does include an extra chain, and a small little bottle for oil. But honestly I think there's better options out there than this.
