This is a very solid mount and will hold nearly any vixen or losmandy bar solidly, My only issue is the tighten screw protrude below the base level which means it can only be monted on the end of a Losmandy bar and not in the middle for holding multiple scopes or an autoguider

Not a bad accessory to add to a tripod. Feels very solid, very little play in the screws. Very nice quality, can handle both Vixen and Losmandy rails with ease.

Good build quality. Hex sockets would be a nice addition but not found on many brackets. Used two of these on an Optec Libra to attach it to a losmandy plate

Installed in a small telescope tripod to accept vixen bases. Liked the fact that it offers multiple hole patterns to adapt a variety of applications. Construction is solid and finishing is excellent. Knobs produce a positive secure lock.

It’s larger than my other dovetail clamps, it’s heavier, and the clamps are much smoother in operation. Machining and anodizing are excellent. And it handles both Vixen and the less common Losmondy dovetails- handy it you have more than one type of mount. Most of my scopes are on Vixen dovetails, but I still have some hardware left from when I owned a G11, so this is a handy thing to have.

This will teach me to read more carefully. I saw the word dovetail and presumed this was for woodworking. The good news is that I have a telescope, and this is not a lost purchase.This product is made of high-quality construction with precision adjustment. I am quite impressed with the value of the product when it could have been cheap plastic. I will look for more products from this brand.
