I used these to replace the dome lights in my garage that came with the house. I thought I was going to have to install the 4 ft long LED style light and do a bunch of work to illuminate the entire garage - I have a recessed area that is difficult to light. Someone recommended this style, so I tried them. This is a standard 2-car garage, but with ceilings over 15 ft high. Two of these lights give me more light than I need. Well worth the price, and they just screw in like a regular bulb. The adjustable fins allowed me to light the recessed area better than I could have imagined. Unfortunately, I didn't take a BEFORE picture..

These led lights are amazing. I used them in my garage after attaching them to my garage door opener. Since they’re sensored, they come on when necessary and they give off great lighting.

Lots of light for a great price. I’m very impressed. It lights up my man cave work area like a stadium light.

I've tried many lights in my shop.Started with CFLs, which are terrible and toxic. Then I tried corncob LEDs. They have two problems. Much of the light goes out to the sides and I rarely have my head next to the 10ft ceiling. And...much worse...they fall apart and crash to the floor. Had that happen with a couple of them. Also tried a cheapo Home Depot bat Wing with bluetooth speaker. The bluetooth is a gimmick as the sound quality stinks. And the lights aren't that bright. And the construction is all plastic. These lamps are nice. They seem to be made almost entirely of metal. So I have hope of durability. The Adjust-ability is nice and it seems like all the light is going to where I want it. And the light tone is good. I will probably buy a couple more.

I originally got the $15/pair led 80-watt 90,000 lumens at 6500k color. I thought, wow what a great deal. Well you get what you pay for. The color was very blue and brightness wasn't much more then the original 16 watt LED bulb they replaced. So I spent the extra $30 and got these. Holy Cow they are very bright and the color is perfect. Something between 4,000 and 5,000k my best guess. Best for a garage with a shop where I need lots of light for my detailed carpentry work. And the build on these are top notch, heavy duty. Very much like industrial grade for sure.

I have ordered a couple of sets of these lights in the past but these are super bright at 9000 lumen's . My husband has them in his garage and they really light up the whole garage and are super simple to install they just screw into a standard light bulb socket and that's it you have super light ! These came in a 2 pack and are so well worth the cost. We have had the first ones we ordered for nearly a year with no problems and sure these will be just as great. If you need to really light up a dark place or just want some super bright light to work under get these as they are just awesome. I actually have one of the first ones bought in my kitchen over my sink area where I prepare food , like mix ingredients for recipes I cook or bake and the light makes a world of difference because I can see so much better than ever and they do cut down on the electric too ! I love these lights as much as my husband does. I just showed my younger Brother the one in my kitchen and he now wants to get them for his garage , I told him not to look directly into the light or he's go blind of course he looked and saw grids for a few minutes and we got a laugh out of that. Don't look directly into the lights ! They are super bright and they are great ! Definitely recommend. These DO NOT HAVE MOTION DETECTION .

I love these lights for the attic. Slim 3” profile once installed. Less likely to be bumped into and if you do, the articulating arms will just fold up out of the way. Really like the fact that the arms can be positioned to provide focused light where it’s needed most.Brightness is great for such a compact design.*** UPDATE 2021 ***Liked these so much, I bought some more! Have a total of 9 of the 9000 lumen LED’s in an attic that’s used for storage. For this purpose they are great. Low profile, easy to install, somewhat adjustable and all 9 lights use only 5.3 amps (tested at panel with clamp meter) Which averages out to 70.6 watts per light. Quite a bit less than the 82 watt spec. It sure if this means the lumen output is lower than spec too. There is about a 1 second delay when turning these lights on, but in the attic, this is a non issue. They do get warm, but the aluminum heat sinks seem to work well as I’ve left these on for days at a time without issue. lI do like these in he attic, but too harsh for me in the garage, where I went with a more diffused light.Overall, great lights, will see how they hold up.

Bright AF! I’m comparing this light “bulb” to a standard CFL, which I am replacing. My single CFL is rated at 13W, 800 lumens versus 82W, 9000 lumens. There is a BIG difference when comparing the two light bulbs. Then there is lag time when you flip the switch until the light actually turns on. It’s minimal. I estimate about 1 to 1.5 seconds. YMMV.I took off a star because it was a little weird when installing this light bulb, the time it actually turned on compared to a regular CFL light bulb, and cost. Because the shape is much different than a regular light bulb, I couldn’t turn it normally. It’s not really a bulb, but a collection of tiny LEDs in an array layout. I had to be careful because I was installing them very high off the floor. I estimated about 9 -10 ft off the ground. I didn’t want to break due to complacency. These things cost roughly $30 each, or $60 per pair. CFL are much cheaper per unit compared to these LED “bulbs”. I bought the CFL bulbs for around $12 for a set of 4. Lastly the lag is noticeable. When I upgraded from an incandescent light bulb to CFL, there was lag. At first it was noticeable. Because I’m doing a major upgrade from CFL to LED, there is expected to be lag as well.Overall, these things are great! They are brighter compared to a single CFL (800 lumen vs 9000 lumens). That resolves my need for a shop light. But the cost and lag time prevents it from being 5 stars. In due time the designers will fix the lag issue.
