Works great, but I do have concerns about longevity. I ordered mine for a motorcycle so I am fortunate to have two of these in the event one of them fails. It is a very simple installation: Just red and black to red and black (depending on your vehicle's wiring of course) with Red being the Positive [+]. It is an attention getter. I would have preferred to have all the blinking be done in a shorter duration. Motorcycles slow down so quickly that you could be stopped before the pattern even ends and the brake light goes on. For a car however I believe it would be just fine. The devices are not very heavy and can be double-side taped or zip tied to just about any surface. The leads are a little bit thin so you may consider soldering a set of leads in instead of simply crimping them. Overall I am happy with them and they are essentially exactly as expected. If they fail prematurely I will be sure to inform you all immediately.
