I have used these jack plates on several speaker cabinets. Them metal is sturdy without being too thick. If I could change anything I would make the overall diameter a little larger so that the screw holes are not as close to the cutout hole. Otherwise fit and finish are good. I will still purchase again.

I bought these jack plates to add a make/break contact between my combo amplifier and its built in speaker.This will allow me to plug another amp head into the back of my combo and use it as a speaker cabinet. Simple and effective.
