The tile is 1/8 inch thick and had no backing. I hope you see what I'm saying in the photos. If I had pinched it between my thumb and finger it would have been about 1/12 inch thick. I reiterate. There is no backing. Just a little sticky is all. It's about the equivalent of covering the floor in fuzzy cloth. Absolutely no padding. I do not recommend it.I am returning this and it will cost me $6.48 to return it, so keep that in mind as well. It isn't worth $6.48 to keep it.
