I am both Milwaukee and Dewalt user so I was able to use the Milwaukee jumper to jump a zero-turn mower 320cca battery. Have not had the need to do anything else.I have some spare time so I took in on myself to try to solder the cable back on the Dewalt. Only my 2nd time trying to solder anything and have not had the opportunity to see if it worked. But like another reviewer experienced I don't know what confidence I would put in the Milwaukee adapter given the Dewalt came apart so easily. Knowing it was the Dewalt that was bad in both cases might signal the Milwaukee might hold together. Just don't know. The cables are longer than what I was expecting which might come in handy. It will be keeping both and will try to use them in the future as needed.

The jumper cable adapter set is a smart and practical solution that makes use of power tool batteries for both Milwaukee M18 and DeWalt, which are owned by many households. The adapters are handy as car starters without the need for a jumper. The heavy gauge cable ensures large current when starting a car. A good accessory utilizing the power tool batteries.

I really like the flexibility of these jumper cables, having the ability to use either Milwaukee or DeWalt batteries is handy to have. The cables are 8 AWG, so pretty thick copper cables, and the clamps seem to be made pretty well, though I don't run a garage, just when someone has a dead battery for whatever reason, so I don't think they will be taking a lot of abuse.

If you have Milwaukee fuel batteries size 8.0 up to 12.0 this is an excellent addition to your kit. The mount slides onto the battery just fine and I was able to start my Cub Cadet riding lawn mower with a 24 horsepower motor my Lexus GX470 and my Ford V10 truck on my 12 volt battery. The wire size is more than adequate for a jump starter and you will not be disappointed with this particular accessory. After you hook up the cables to your battery it is wise to wait about a minute for the battery to take on some charge before attempting to start your car immediately it will work better this way. This jumper cable accessory is very useful because unlike some jumper boxes that require a little bit of voltage and the target battery two work these will jump a completely dead car battery.

The cables are pretty heavy duty compared to the little battery powering them. They have a feeling of quality just because they're not too thin. The clamps are small but are appropriate for the current load they are given. The adapter end that hooks up to my DeWalt battery needs a firm push or smack to seat it properly but removing it is much more difficult. It is jammed on there with no room left. While this may be better than being loose, it makes a hard time to disconnect it from the battery. Your first instinct is to pull on the cables which I would think will weaken them and probably cause them to pull out of the housing before too long. The shell of the housing is smooth and doesn't provide any real grip so this is a flaw that should be addressed. The DeWalt 20V lithium battery it fits probably puts out more juice than equivalent sized jumper packs, but I question if there will ever be an issue throwing 8 more volts into something designed for 12V. I was surprised that it did work and jumped my lawn mower. I also used it for powering a 12v car jack and it worked flawlessly. The ability to use it from a 12V cigarette lighter socket (do they call them that anymore? I am referring to 12V power source with bullet plug connector in the car) is kind of cool however its usefulness is uncertain because it will never reach to another vehicle. I can, however, tap that power from the plug and use the clamps to deliver 12V to whatever I can reach. I just don't know what that will ever be but having the option may come in handy one day.The Milwaukee connector cannot be tested by me for lack of a Milwaukee battery, but I will keep it all together because maybe that too will be useful one day.Being able to use the DeWalt batteries I already own does make this useful for anything I am able to do with it. And my experience with things like this has been that a really dead battery is too hard to start with these small units. They do work surprisingly well for a battery that is a little weak or one that was just run down.
