Movable insect butterfly mounting display board
- White EVA foam sheet high elastic EVA foam 8″ Long x 5″ Wide
This is an inexpensive EVA foam pegboard for the beginner's person. It holds many specimens, but weighs less than 3 ounces, making it especially good for field pegging. It is perfect for spreading and drying butterfly wings. This pegboard is different from other pegboards in that it consists of three boards for placing removable butterfly body sizes, the large board measures 8 inches x 5 inches and the two smaller boards measure 8 inches x 2.4 inches, you can vary the distance between the two smaller boards to accommodate most butterflies, moths, insects and other specimens. In addition, we provide 6 sheets of thin paper so you can make your own specimen wings to suit your needs!
The movable EVA's foam block allows for perfect positioning using any length of needle against the specimen. Excludes needles, paper strips and insects.

I ordered these for a science project my son was putting together. I was a little shocked to find that there were only a few pieces of foam and some wax paper included. Seeing as I was mostly ordering this for the pins, this was pretty much useless for what I was needing.The description says: “This insect specimen tools kit comes with everything you need, including pins, tweezers, splint, and a transparent insect display case. “Not what was described, ended up having to order another set of pins.

It said "tools" in the title. No tools here.I thought this was kit for collecting specimens. I received three pieces of foam, no pins, and a few pieces of thin translucent paper squares. If you need foam boards, order a larger board and cut it to match your displace cases, or order a full set of pre-cut boards that are a proper size for collecting.Three pieces of foam for $9.99 is not a good value.
