These are what they claim to be -- properly sized rack covers. I used two of them in a server and the other two I used as just generic steel plates to stick some magnetic tools to. They worked great for both purposes.

My newest rack was the server style, meaning that the slot brackets were square instead of the round screw in type racks. This was going to require me to get a different set of brackets inserts. I didn't have the clamp grips that are normally used to install the brackets, so I had to use a flat head screw driver. My recommendation is to take the insert, but the bottom side in first and with the flat head press down enough until you can pop it into the slot. I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures, but hopefully you can see what I was trying to describe. The panels themselves are very well made and heavy duty. The panels shown are for demonstration purposes only to show proof of purchase and use. I am very pleased with this purchase, just keep in mind that this set is better designed for server style racks, rather than the older screw in type. Thank you.

I'm using these with an audio rack and I wanted to cover some gaps and protect my rackmounted devices from dust. They are very rigid and don't flex at all and the powder-coating is applied evenly without blemishes that I could see. That doesn't matter to me all that much but does indicate a high level of manufacturing quality. I have no complaints with these rack panels.I think my only nitpick is that the only option to purchase is one of each size. Although I can make that work, it would've been nice to be able to get multiple 1u or 2u panels as an option. For instance, I don't need a 4u on the front of my rack but I can at least use that one on the backside of the rack so that it's not wide open.

It fits into the rack well. My issue is that the Black isn’t really black. I added these into a 7’ rack which has other devices in it which are “True Black”. These are more like a very dark gray! All of the other rack spacers are a real Black
