I bought already three sets over the years as I was running out of colors. We use it a lot for all kinds of school projects and for the girls club projects and for fun and for arts and crafts charity events and found raisers. We go through a tone of them a year.I love the colors. Not only how it looks on the product but also if you set up it neatly in your sewing studioroom, it looks so beautiful, like a rainbow. It is an art piece in its own right!It does not break but make sure you always keep your bobbin neat, the machine cleaned in all places where threads can collect.I absolutely LOVE IT! Just sheer fact that this is something I come back to buy so often tells the story.I never look at other brands since the price is perfect and the quality is great.

The 40 Spools Polyester Embroidery Machine Thread were a suggested add-on item for my order of an embroidery machine. After a quick comparison review for price and apparent quality, I decided to add the thread to my purchase.The thread and machine are gifts for my daughter's upcoming birthday. I was pleased with the wide selection of thread colors and packaging. My wife has used the Embroidex brand before, and it has always performed well in her machine. This item is a great way to get started or increase your color options in an economical way. As you know, going to the store to buy thread can be intimidating with so many choices for color and thread material. It is nice just to have a wider color selection on hand at an economical price over purchasing by single spool. There is also a nice color selection chart by number printed on a hard-card included in the box. This is helpful, for the color number often comes off the spool after use. As a note, you may also want to consider buying a color selection of Rayon type thread. My wife prefers to use Rayon over Polyester for tee-shirts and sweatshirts. Hope this helps...enjoy!

I'm a beginner sewer and have only used my machine for a few tiny repairs and an job that I had where I was making soapies (holders for soap that double as a scrubbing washcloth-The Soapie Shoppe). This thread was perfect for the soapies and repairs made on some yoga pants, but it wasn't strong enough for repairing rips in jeans. Like I said, I'm new to all of this. Anyway, I really love all the different colors and plan to use all of them as I continue to play around and learn more.The only thing I didn't expect about these is the way the spools are made. I knew they would be different from the standard stool I'm used to all the way to my childhood watching my mom sew. But these stools have a very wide opening that causes it to fling around when in use. I know this has to be causing some issues with the thread getting caught up behind my bobbin, but I admit I haven't looked very far for any devices or suggestions to secure the stool in place.Besides that, the colors are vibrant, the thread is strong when used for what it's intended. I would love to try quilting or making weighted blankets or something, and I'm sure these threads will be perfect for any of the projects I have in mind.

i've had a sewing machine that does embroidery for 3 years now and decided to start the year off finally teaching myself how to use the embroidery piece. Once I started putting it all together, it all made sense. Once I realized the cotton thread was for sewing and not for embroidery, it got even better. I chose this pack of embroidery threads and was a little cautious after reading some of the reviews. I even kept the box for a couple weeks just to make sure I was going to keep them. Now that I've used them on over 20 projects, its safe to say I LOVE THEM! The thread is great quality, the colors are bright and beautiful and they work great with my Brother machine. The only issue I had with them was learning how to get them started off the spool. There is either a single thread by itself going across the spool to the bottom or in some cases there was a little bitty thread sticking out at the bottom to start the spool. I'll admit, I messed up a couple spools trying to figure it out at first, but once I figured out the single thread down to the bottom, I got a straight pen and picked that thread up and away we went! If you're trying to decide to buy this pack for embroidery or not, do it. You'll love them too.

When I bought my embroidery machine I purchased the 40 spools of Polyester thread to go along with it. I have made many patches, pillows and embroidered on a pair of jeans with wonderful results. You get enough thread on each spool to do many projects, and there is even enough if you make many mistakes! :)The colors of this thread are so vibrant and satiny, it holds up well when washing.On a few spools it is really hard to find the end of the thread, if you look really hard under a bright light, you will see one tiny thread going the wrong way, take a straight pin, or seam ripper and gently pull the thread loose. When you are done sewing, put the end of the thread under the number sticker.If you are having problems with thread bunching or breaking check the thread tension and re-thread the machine. It really is a good strong thread.I have noticed that on really hot/humid days the thread acts strange, to remedy that I put it further away from my machine and turn the fan on. I am not sure why this happens, but it remedied the problem.This is my honest review of this product, I did not get paid for the review. I just want people to have honest reviews when purchasing a product for the first time, just as I want to read honest reviews when I am purchasing products for the first time. I like these threads - the colours are great, and the box they come in is ideal. I would give them a five-star rating except that about six of the spools I have opened (so far) have had winding issues where it was impossible to find the beginning of the thread, and once I did find it, they have jammed at the bottom of the spool and caused thread breaks in my embroidery machine. That being said, the shine and rich colours are great - and the price is more than reasonable. Will I buy them again? I am not 100% sure quite yet. I have added a photo of some of the colours stitched into floral designs so you can see the threads in use...

I brought this product after reading such good reviews but the item I received must be different as the thread is of very low quality, constantly breaks and splits. I agree with the colours they are pretty and the range is lovely but the thread is not fit for purpose. I have contact the seller for a refund as I am so unhappy with the item. Please think carefully before buying as it really is not good quality item.
