I can’t find a reason for it, but these flasher units only last 9 to 24 months at most. Never happened with any other flashers I’ve used

Used one of the other Grote LED flashers for LED lights but the minimum usable current was not met. This one is much lower and worked well. Note the pin connections as I don't think this will plug and play with OEM type of flashers. See the Grote website for specs and wiring diagram. Definitely pricey but got the job done. One star off for price.

Installed led turn signals in my utility bed. Which made them flash very fast. Replaced flasher with this one. Flashes the same as old incandescent bulbs.

There is no location for this flasher on a modern F150. The controls for the turn signals when they are hype -flashing are located within your gauge cluster. On older (2005 and older trucks) there is a location for this flasher but not on 2009 and newer trucks.

Good replacement for an ISO flasher when you've modified your system with LEDs or relays, and have less than the factory amperage load, causing your original flasher to blink rapidly.

This was the only "flasher" I found that would work on my 1965 Mopar A body car after installing LED bulbs in the front & rear parking, turn signals, brake lights... This is a 3 Prong unit, so it's not a direct plug in for the older Mopars. You need to add and run a GROUND to the "X Pin"... and Power (HOT) goes to the "L Pin"... and the Load to the "P Pin"... I know, that sounds wrong, but I had this wiring confirmed by a Grote Engineer. (they have excellent Customer Service)... This 44110 Flasher was not stocked by any of my local parts houses, so I found it on amazon (Also excellent customer service) Yes, I had tried the Grote Two Prong LED Flasher 44891, but could not get it to work for My application... It was then that the Grote Engineer told me to try the 44110 Three Prong unit for my OLDER car !!!Note: The factory wiring on my 65 Mopar to the factory stock two pin flasher was as follows... RED wire was LOAD ( to the directional switch) and Black wire was HOT (from ignition switch) !! Check this with a test light yourself else you might fry the new 44110 Flasher... Good Luck Car Guys!
