There is a great video on YouTube that explains the install. Be sure to have a philips screwdriver & 10mm socket with a sizeable extension to reach in the old radio. For the 2010 Tacoma, there's some security torx screws in the radio (star shape) as well, so make sure you have the correct bits beforehand.Screen is big and bright, and there is a very minor lag with its response. I can't complain at the price.Relatively easy install, it took me a couple hours and I am kinda disorganized :). Everything you need is included in the kit.

This Android Car Radio for 2nd Gen Toyota Tacoma is a good choice to modernize the vehicle. All the possible wiring harnesses are included so it is Plug and Play in the different trims. The seller (Fancygod) does actually support it. I have used Amazon messaging to get prompt answers to a few questions I had. There are YouTube videos explaining how to remove the factory radio, and this radio comes with installation instructions. The supplied bezels fit the truck exactly, so the fit is clean. To me, the biggest benefit of this replacement radio is the ability to wirelessly connect my phone and use Android Auto.I can use Google Assistant for voice interactions, allowing me to easily ask for and receive custom navigation information with a large active map, make a hands free phone call, send a text, etc. while focusing my attention on the road ahead. This Android Car Radio is capable of much more than I can describe in this review. Suffice it to say that once you experience the leap of technology this unit brings to your Tacoma, you will be very happy you replaced your factory radio. You will never want to go back to it.

I just purchased this head unit for my 2011 Toyota Tacoma, and so far it has been great! A huge upgrade from the OEM unit, and having the CarPlay feature is a true game changer. The value for the cost is not comparable from all the other units I’ve researched. However, there are a few reasons this product isn’t getting 5 stars from me. First, the installation instructions are practically non-existent. The only reason I was able to properly remove the old head unit and install this one correctly were through various YouTube videos. Second, the screen has just a small bit of lag when changing songs/swiping pages/etc. the lag isn’t a dealbreaker and I suppose that’s part of why it is a cheaper unit, but still worth the mention. Lastly, when making phone calls, the person you are talking to has a very difficult time hearing you talk so the microphone is a bit weak.Overall, I am so far extremely happy with this product and it is a major (and necessary) upgrade for anyone who has a 2nd Gen Toyota Tacoma!

I have a 2013 Toyota Tacoma and there are so many replacement options to choose from. I decided to give this one a chance based on the price and the features listed.I was completely shocked when I opened the package. It comes with everything from trim pieces, removal tool, backup camera and all the wiring adapters. It was an easy install, fits perfectly and comes with all the instructions.Screen is very nice and the touchscreen works without lag.I hooked it up to my factory speaker’s, the sound is great and works with my hands free phone.Good choice for a replacement and you can’t beat the price.

I installed this in my 2013 Tacoma and it’s been a massive upgrade over the stock stereo. The screen is large, bright, and way more responsive than I expected for the price. Boot time is quick, and Android 13 runs smoothly—even multitasking works fine for music and maps.Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto both connect without hassle. I mostly use Android Auto and it reconnects automatically every time I start the truck, no fiddling. The sound quality is solid—actually better than the factory unit. Bluetooth works well too, and the built-in WiFi lets you download apps or stream music if you tether it to your phone. The GPS works great and didn’t need any setup. It also comes with a backup cam, which was a nice bonus. I had to do some minor dashboard trimming to fit it flush, but once in, it looked almost OEM.A few small downsides: The UI feels a little generic and some app icons are awkwardly sized. Also, the included camera is decent, but not amazing quality at night. Still, for the price, you’re getting a ton of value and modern features packed into a clean package. If you’ve got a 2005–2015 Tacoma and want wireless CarPlay/Android Auto and a big screen without spending $500+, this is 100% worth it.

This thing is an absolute piece of S***, it blanks out, won't connect to my phone, doesn't work when it's cold, disconnects at random times. Don't buy it.
