During the installation, we need to be careful to distinguish the respective positions of the light and heavy wires and remember where they are connected. After plugging in the power cord, reinsert the light wires into their original positions.

I needed to replace a 25 years 50 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch on our Class A Motorhome and I found this 50 Amp RV Automatic Transfer Switch, 120/240 VAC Safety with Power Monitoring Switch, Dual Protection 50 amp Automatic Transfer Relay for RV. The price was really good and the quality seems good. It was not a direct fit replacement from my old style but it was well worth the effort installing it, So far it has work flawlessly switching from Shore Power to Generator Power and back.Well worth the money.

This transfer switch is a lifesaver for my RV solar system. The rugged steel construction handles the elements like a champ, and the automatic generator priority keeps everything seamless. It’s definitely high quality, with durable wiring and smart safety features. The only hiccup is the installation, which took some careful wire tracking. But once it’s set, the peace of mind is unbeatable. It’s practical, well-made, and a fantastic addition to any mobile power setup!
