these four wire splitter cables work for extending the length of fan cables or adding two fans to one motherboard or fan controller channel. They are a foot long. Each cable has two "outputs", one with the third tachometer pin and one without. Only one fan can report rpm back to the controller per connector, so these cables let you choose. Both outputs have PWM output (pin 4) connected which is exactly what you want for 4 pin fans.

Great price for a multipack of fan splitters. Only time will will tell if the splitters are high quality or not, I will update this review if I run into quality issues after some time in my pc build.

Well, there isn't a whole lot to say about these 4-pin PWM PC fan extension cables except they seem reasonably well-made and work just fine without issues; however, the heat-shrink tubes are just rubbish and they come off for just about ALL cables when I try to unplug them (pic 3). The heat shrinks should really have glue interior to prevent this from happening. Nonetheless, they do work just fine although unplugging them is a pain in the neck.≡ ValueAll things considered, these are somewhat decent 4-pin PWM PC fan extension cables that seem reasonably well-made and work just fine without issues provided that you don't care about the rubbish heat shrinks that get dislodged from the connectors whenever you try to unplug the cables and if that's a concern for you, look elsewhere. They're somewhat reasonably priced at $13 (for a 10-pack) for what they provide and their overall build quality, usability, and performance. Your mileage might vary.
