This timer works great. It just lacks instructions. It is not difficult but takes a little research if you have not used one before. I use it to control a relay that powers a spa pump motor from a wall switch.

Totally solved my boiler demand signal extender need. Not only does it accept my 24vac power source but also does not have the unwanted power-up triggering that cheaper devices exhibit.

When changing the time increment, you must cycle power to the relay for the change to take effect. Certainly, quite inconvenient and not how other timed relays work.

Affordable option with a lot of flexibility. Used the delay on/off functionality and worked perfect for the application.

This one went to auto stop my exhaust fan with lighting reset. It takes a little thought but these things are amazingly useful solving a lot of annoyances as well as industrial processing.

Despite the price of these increasing by 50% they are still the cheapest way to get a timer relay. They have all the functions you could want and have been reliable. Can't complain.

This unit does not respond to the course time adjustment. It delays from 1 to 10 seconds only and I need it to delay longer than that. Since I didn't install it until after the 1 month return window expired, I won't be able to see if it's replacement works as described. I think that window is unrealistic in commercial applications because frequently a number of devices have to be intergrated before any testing can occur.

This is a clever little timer. Though intended for industrial automation, it also has many low-volt uses in the home. I am using mine to prevent prolonged rings on a doorbell. The "supply" terminals are really just another input and should be triggered as shown in the charts (which are included in the packaging and available online). In "B" mode, the relay closes and resets as quickly as I can press the bell. Though the device has a lower limit of 20 VAC, it seems to work fine on a 16 VAC transformer. (I'm staying safe, though, and powering it with 24 VAC via a multi-tap transformer, only using the 16 VAC to power the bell.) Because this is a DIN rail device, do not expect any protection from the installed environment whatsoever. Even the orange plastic looks like it could degrade if left exposed to sunlight. This poses a problem to the home user whom simply wants to screw the thing to the wall. As an electrician, I look for ratings on everything. To simply screw a rail to a beam and mount the thing to it doesn't seem quite right. I purchased the Altech 542-504 enclosure. Overkill, maybe. But, at least it looks proper and somewhat protected from water and physical damage. There are cheaper enclosures without the access door, of course.
