This mic sounds reasonably good and fits me ok, though the size is a bit small so you might have trouble if you have a larger head. The close to mouth position of the mic is good for more noisy environments since your voice will be much louder than ambient noise, you should be able to turn the gain down some. One possible issue for some people might be the screw-on lock on the mic plug. I'm using this with a Deity transmitter that has this type of plug, but you might have trouble if your transmitter or mic jack has a flush panel fit. If the thing you are plugging into doesn't have a screw lock it's possible the screw part of the plug might stop it from fully plugging into the jack. Unfortunately this screw part isn't removable. So if your mic jack has a screw lock, you should be good. If it doesn't you might have trouble depending on the size/mounting of your jack. Be sure to check if it fits when it arrives.Comes with a nice zippered case to store it in when you aren't using it.

This style of mic has a tendency to break easily. The cable is very delicate. This particular unit is very well made and I particularly like the reinforcement of the cable at the connecting ends of both the actual mic and the connector. The sound quality is great. The directionality is superb. Good job. Recommend.

The mic itself sounds pretty decent - surprisingly so, in fact - but two big issues:1. The size isn’t adjustable, so if it doesn’t fit you well out of the box, it might be pretty uncomfortable, and2. The cord is not replaceable - like with better brands - so once the connections starts to go bad or get staticky (which is almost inevitable with this kind of mic), you pretty much have to throw it away.So if you have a fairly small head, and you won’t be putting it through much vigorous use (like for actors in a musical with dancing), it’s a pretty good mic for the price.

I use this connected to a Rode mic. Couldn't be happier.

You you cannot expect too much out of this mic but it is Plug and Play not great and quality I know that it's an aftermarket product it could be designed to spec a tad better I wouldn't necessarily recommend you run out and buy this unless you're on an extreme budget in which case this will get your foot in the door.

I have a social media video channel, and I use an inexpensive headset mic when recording video for that channel. So I'm familiar with the idea here. Unfortunately the execution on this product is lacking. It comes with a very nice case, but that's where the quality ends. Overall the headset is smaller than is typical, and perhaps would fit better on a child's head than an adult's head. In the last picture I posted the 1/8" jack on the left is the one for this headset and the one on the right is another one I own. You can see that something isn't right with the stereo jack and it is shorter than it should be. As a result, when you insert it into the female side, you will only get mono performance because it doesn't seat far enough down to engage for stereo. I tried pushing and twisting the knurled metal knob on the jack to set it farther down, but that's as far as it will go. In mono mode I found the recording to be very "hot" and somewhat distorted. Possibly that would improve if the jack seated all the way. Overall I can't recommend this headset mic unless they improve the manufacturing.

These guys make non-brand adapters for my hi-end DPA mic, & now a serviceable backup mic that I can offer to guest singers on my headset-mic-based busking setup.I don't have detailed comparison audio experiencec with these yet, but if they're either outstandlingly good or outstandlngly bad from a musical vocal performance standpoint, I'll come back & update.Decently manufactured: primarily differs from much spendier products by being beefier, not tending to disappeard on the face like the spendier ones...but if you're up close enough for the "lighter" mics to be easily seen--like a streetcorner or cafe player--that's a moot feature that can cost quite a bit.Fingers crossed, these seem pretty good for vocalists.

This mic comes in a hard polystyrene type box, which helps to protect the device from dust and damage. The headset is tan in color and uses a mini uni-directional condenser microphone. It has earhooks that help keep the headset in place. The headset can be positioned to wear on the left or right side. The boom flexes enough to allow adjustment for different sized people. A thin metal band runs the length of the headset to provide support. It is flexible and wrapped in a plastic sheath at the ear hooks, making it very comfortable to wear. It is extremely lightweight. The headset is well constructed. It is compatible with any Sennheiser wireless transmitter that has a 3.5mm TRS connector. I tested it with an SK-100 G3 body pack and found the sound very clear. An mini sized windscreen is included in the box. I tend not to use these, as they are very small and tend to come off the boom and get lost. This headset mic is a great cost effective alternative to a more expensive name brand piece. The results are comparable, making this a very good value for the cost.
