Installation Tips:
1. Turn Off All Power: Before replacing the circuit board, ensure all power sources (12V DC and 120V AC) are disconnected. You should also turn off the propane if you're dealing with a model that uses gas.
2. Remove the Old Circuit Board:
- Open the refrigerator’s panel where the circuit board is located (usually inside the fridge's back access panel).
- Disconnect any wiring connected to the old board. There should be labeled connectors (e.g., 12V, 120V, ground).
- Remove any screws or fasteners holding the circuit board in place.
- Take out the old board carefully.
3. Install the New Board:
- Mount the new circuit board in the same position, using the same screws or fasteners.
- Reconnect the wiring according to the labels on the board. This might include 12V, 120V AC, and ground connections. Ensure the connections are tight and secure.
- If your fridge uses gas, make sure the gas line and igniter connections are properly attached.
4. Test the System:
- Once the new board is installed, reconnect power (both 12V DC and 120V AC) and the propane if needed.
- Turn the refrigerator on and monitor the cooling cycle.
- Check for any error codes on the control panel (if applicable), and verify the fridge is cooling properly in all modes (electric and propane).
Troubleshooting:
- If the fridge isn't cooling or operating as expected after replacing the circuit board, double-check all wiring connections.
- Make sure you’ve properly set the fridge to the correct power source (12V or 120V) and that the gas valve is open if using propane.
