I got this as a 6AN to 3/8 barb. The whole thing including the sealing surface has a sand blasted texture. I'm a bit suspicious if it wont take a little lapping or tightening to get it to seal on the tapered surface. The wall thickness is kind of thick but on a cheap fitting I'd rather it be thicker than flimsy. The coating I'm assuming is anodized looks pebbly not shiny. I'm using this to connect to a 6an fitting on a fuel pressure regulator but it'll be a while before I have it under pressure to see if it would leak. Threads right onto the AN fitting.
