How to replace the fuel nozzles?

repalce injectors steps:

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector
  2. Remove fuel rail mounting bolts
  3. Lift rail from the intake manifold
  4. Remove fuel injector retainer clip
  5. Work the injector from the fuel rail (fuel will be present)
  6. Match the new injector to the old unit
  7. Insert new injector using new O ring seals (lube with engine oil)
  8. Reinstall fuel injector rail and mounting bolts
  9. Install electrical connector
  10. Check for leaks

A:Fuel nozzles should be checked or replaced every 60,000 miles.

Q:Do I need to replace all of the nozzles at once?

A:It's best to replace fuel nozzles in sets. Cause of replacing one injector will cause the ECU to set a code for the other. Because the new injector switching activity is much faster than that of the older aged injectors.

Q:The petrol injector will not come out?

A:You should disconnect the electrical connector. And then remove fuel rail mounting bolts,lift rail from the intake manifold,remove fuel injector retainer clip, it will come out.

Q:Why does the fault code still exist after replacing the fuel injector?

A:

  1. Line disconnection: Lines need to be troubled immediately to ensure they are securely connected.
  2. Improper installation of the injector: Problems with the installation of the injector, such as not being tightened or in an inaccurate position, can also cause the fault light to come on.
  3. Problems with the air intake system: An engine fault light maybe indicate a problem with the air intake system, resulting in inadequate combustion.
  4. Engine exhaust system failure.
