I bought this for a halloween decoration I wanted to convert to plug in. Worked like a charm and now I don't have to replace the batteries every other night.

Garbage! Doesn’t work. Like another review says, you need to jam foil between the contacts to get them to work. Needed for a Halloween decoration. I’ll return and find a better one!

Junk. Tried the powered battery in each slot just in case that mattered, and it doesn't work in any slot.EDIT: Like many of these, they cut corners and don't make the batteries long enough.If you fold up some tin foil and jam it between the batteries so they make contact, this DOES work.We shouldn't have to do this, and they should come with some spacers if they are too short for standard devices.

Only one complaint, the fake batteries are not glued well so they are not round. I had to sand down the seams on two of the four units before they fit well in the battery case.You may have to modify the battery case of the device because it may not close correctly. I filed out a small notch in the battery case lid.
