So tired of CO2 leaking out of my kegs. These replacement poppets were significantly better than the ones that came originally. Spring tension was high enough to keep the seal, and save me from having to buy more CO2.

These are great: fit my more standard (longer spring) keg posts perfectly.Tested to 30 pounds psi pressure: no leaks.I've acquired a variety of kegs over the years from different sources for homebrewing.Be aware that you can run into different poppets for different posts. Some have longer springs, some shorter, some have a mini 'tripod' metal support under the spring. This item fits the majority of my kegs.I brew, ferment and store from kegs. Poppets are constantly in use (for spunding, too).Leaks and blockages happen. It's always a good idea to remove and clean poppets and posts between uses. It also gives you a chance to always apply a food-grade keg lube to the o-rings every time, which should help your poppets to survive for a long time.Nothing worse than a keg leaking pressure or beer unexpectedly.It's well worth it to keep some extra poppets around just in case. Cheap insurance.Make sure the top of your new poppets are even with the top of the post after installation and pressure test. If they are above or below the post top, look for different ones to avoid last minute problems.I recommend these.

Had previously gotten a batch of these to refurbish my old poppets. Something didn't look right with those and now that I have gotten these, I see what those old ones were missing, the little o-ring at the top. Installed in a keg that I filled two weeks ago and it's holding pressure well.
