This 90029 mixing valve fits for all Atwood XT series water heaters. This is the 10 gallon water heater replacement mixing valve kit, for Atwood water Heaters 10 Gallon models G16EXT, GE16EXT, GEH16EXT, etc.
Replace for Atwood OEM part # 90029.
Reduces weight while installing the same cut-out dimensions of other Atwood water heaters. Preconfigured freeze bypass kit, tee fittings, with blocked screens and a thermostatically-controlled mixing valve with check valves in both inlets.
Replace the old, bad mixing valve that gets clogged up easily from hard water. This mixing valve combines ambient temperature water with hot water from your heater tank. Note: This is the valve only.
This mixing valve is made of high-quality copper, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, strong and durable.
Rinse the tank until it is clean.
It’s designed to screw in and basically come to a stop in the correct position, which required some hand torque.
Re-installing the new valve was fine, screwed right in and got progressively tighter.

Bought this as a replacement for my Atwood water heater. Install it and it let's hot water through for 5 seconds and then only allows the cold water. Adjusted the internal valve and no change. Buyer beware
