It worked great and just recently the TV would stay on and then turn off after 2 minutes after a couple weeks use. I turn on the tv for maybe 2 hours after work. So I do not use it a lot. I took the back of the tv apart to see if it was the same issue and the glass cover is broken.

The installation of the lamp gave some trouble with the lining up of the male plug on lamp with female plug of the tv. I eventually got lamp to plug into the tv plug.

Did not really want to go in.. the dimensions seemed a bit off and required some pressure to install. Once it was installed it worked great.

The bulb is amazing nice and bright and beautiful color. The housing it came in while for my tv didn't fit. (It matched identically to my old housing so I have no idea) I had to take it apart and put it into the old housing so it would fit. I made sure not to touch the bulb and used extreme care and luckily it all worked out. I am extremely pleased and will buy again (hopefully not for a long time 😉)

It took a little maneuvering to get it in there to exactly fit but a great value for the price compared to manufacturers recommendations and the difference between the new bulb and old bulb is huge... I had a lot of dust back there so I would recommend before installing the new one, clean out all the dust with a duster...For this price I may just go ahead and replace the bulb every two years as long as my TV lasts.
