Several years ago I bought an induction cooktop on Amazon as a present to myself. I used it awhile and then put it away ... until ... 2-3 years ago I turned on my 20+ year old range and the oven broiler element commenced to self-immolate. Hmmm. A problem with some of the ancient components on the ancient Control Board(s).I temporarily setup my kitchen to function with the induction cooktop, a resistance cooktop (in reserve), toaster oven and a microwave ... and settled in to either find someone that could repair my existing range Control Board(s) for a reasonable cost or hope that Range design trends and prices (sales) became MUCH more attractive. I eventually found a company (on Amazon, actually) offering a repair package. It took awhile but they did a great job.During those months without a range, I got to know my induction cooktop very well. I used it a LOT. One of the primary things that I focused on while using it was taking care to not damage the GLASS top. Very careful! I am convinced that because of that attention, it still looks like new.If I had had one of these JUNEME Cooktop Protection Mats, I could have relaxed a bit more, y'know? I have done some light testing with a Mat installed and I can discern no difference in performance. Very Nice!Subsequently, I have purchased a set for my sister's birthday. :)

These mats protect the glass of my induction burners well. There a little sticky, which is great on the burner side, but not ideal on the pan side. The guide lines make it easy to center your pan on the mat, though I'm not a fan of throwing a big logo in the middle. I'd run them upside-down if they had the circles on the back side and if the printing didn't ever so slightly reduce friction with the pan.
