If you are in the business, this tool is a game changer for pulling Moen shower cartridges. I've used it 3 times since I received it and pulling the cartridge out has never been easier. Worth every penny!!

I was having trouble disassembling my Moen 1222 cartridge, which resulted in part of my old tool breaking. I tried ordering this new tool, it arrived quickly and it removed the damaged cartridge with ease, thank you very much.

I got this extractor tool to remove and replace a Moen 1225 cartridge but I could not get it to work. The instructions are not very clear and I tried various combination of the parts and could not get the cartridge to budge. The problem I saw was that the tool did not "bite" into the cartridge and just spun it around. After several tries and also with the assistance of a friend who is a better handyman than I am, I gave up and went to a big box store and bought the "approved" tool. The cartridge came out right away with that new tool.

If you have ever used the Home Depot tool it is junk. It can make this job a real pain. This tool is very easy to use giving good results.

Had diverter stem stuck, would not come out with cheap puller from big box store. Found this puller and pulled unit right out, turned out the rubbers had laminated to housing and busted end of stem off inside housing. Used pic and needle nose pliers to pull pieces out. Put Molykote 111 on new seals, works real smooth.

I don't usually write reviews, but I know there are not many on this lower costing one as opposed to the other one you probably are looking at.This made the job so simple. I've changed out over 20 of these moen carts before, & it's ALWAYS been a major pita. From chipping them out to you name it.....BUY THIS AND END THE PAIN.This is hands down the best tool I've bought in years. Every homeowner should have one.
