Not perfect but was a good buy for me. Decent specs for what I paid with the coupon that was available.

This mini PC features last years Intel flagship mobile processor. While the 12th gen is a year old, there is not much difference in performance in the latest 13th gen version. However, there is a massive price difference. This mini PC has 32GB of DDR4 RAM (not DDR5, which is more expensive and not much faster). There are two sticks of RAM, so you get the added performance of dual channel mode. The installed Windows 11 Home is 22H2, which is over a year old. The benefit here is during the initial setup of Windows (during your first boot) there is no requirement to add an online Microsoft account (as long as no network connection is made - do not set up the computer for your network until AFTER you set up Windows on your first boot if you want to use a LOCAL account instead of a Microsoft account). The downside to this is once you are done setting up Windows for the first time, you will have a ton of updates, reboots and more updates to get Windows 11 current and secured. The system has the RAM, 512GB NVMe (gen4, 4800 MBps sequential read), and m2 wifi/bluetooth card easily accessible from removing the bottom panel (be careful as the panel extends to become the back side of the computer, making removal a little tricky since the panel is 'L' shaped and needs to clear all the ports in the rear to be removed properly. If you are forcing it, you are doing it wrong. When done properly, it will come off with little effort.Unfortunately, they've decided to put rubber feet with sticky tape over the access holes to the screws. Therefore, you must remove the rubber feet first, being very careful of not damaging the foot or adhesive, as they give no extras. On my unit, the sticky tape stuck to the mini PC, leaving the screw access holes covered and the rubber feet coming off without any sticky on them. I then had to use a small jewelers screwdriver to puncture a hole in the tape and access the screw about 1" deep. This requires a narrow Phillips screwdriver to reach that deep in to the hole.Once all four screws are removed, all components are easily accessible to upgrade RAM, NVME, WiFi or even a 2.5" drive to the bottom panel and use the included sata cable to hook up to the drive and motherboard. I do not recommend adding any device that gets hot, as there is no fan in this part of the mini PC. While they do make it easy to add a 2.5" drive, keep in mind you are also adding more heat to the area that contains your RAM and NVMe drive. For this reason, I strongly recommend you buy a USB-to-SATA cable here at Amazon and use your 2.5" drive externally. No drive enclosure is necessary and SATA is so slow (compared to todays NVMe drives) the drive will perform the exact same speeds through USB as it will directly wired to the motherboard, while also keep the drive cooler and the internals of your mini PC cooler. All that said, this is a monster performer! Granted, its not for playing games. While you can easily play older games and retro games, the latest AAA titles often require a discreet GPU that cost 3x this entire PC. Gaming is an expensive luxury for those who can afford both the time and money modern AAA titles require.)For every task, from surfing the web, home theater, doing any work-related apps from Microsoft Office, TEAMS, video editing and rendering... pretty much anything you can think of this Kodlix GD90 can do without even breaking a sweat. It stays cool and quiet, no RGB or unprofessional glitz to attract attention. Just a high performing, quiet, very capable and inconspicuous mini PC for half the price of what it would cost you to build it yourself from new parts.I think you will amazed that you can get so much computing power in such a small box with such a small price! If I'm wrong, Amazon has a 30 day free return window. You have nothing to risk by trying it. See for yourself and tell me if you agree with my review!

I bought this mini pc because it had great specs but I guess if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I hooked up the keyboard, mouse and display and… nothing, a blank screen. In fact the only thing that appeared on the monitor was the message “no signal”. I got a new hdmi cable thinking it might be the cause of the problem. Nope. Now all I have is an expensive doorstop.

This is my first step into the mini-PC world. I have to say I am pleased overall with what I received for under $420. I have Ryzen 9 6900 with a 2GB video card, and 32 GB of DDR5 and a 1 TB drive. As others have said, this is not a gaming computer in the sense that you are getting a top end computer, but it's not the bottom either. In fact, I paid less for this than I would have paid for a comparable new desktop by over $300 with similar performance. This is also my first time in the AMD Ryzen processor world. I looked at many of the Intel N series chips, I couldn't get what I wanted for memory and storage at the lower prices. After some research, I found it has to do with the limitations built into the chip by Intel at the lower price point.I only have one issue with this computer, it is noisier than I had expected. I am not sure if the fan is rubbing on something, or if it's just the design, but you can definitely hear the fan, all the time.Otherwise, it comes with Win 11 Home, edge, and your basic MS installs or their availability to install after you boot the computer. It took about two hours to get all of the Windows updates installed. There is an option to upgrade to Pro for $99.For the money and what I needed it for I am content. It is replacing a 2013 iMac that I can no longer upgrade. My thought was I can't get another 27" iMac, and I am going to have to pay $1400-$2000 to get what I want in a Mac just so it can do basic home office chores. I like Mac but if I can get something comparable for 1/4 the cost, it's a no brainer. At this point I have about $700 in everything to include a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and software. The pain will come when I have to move files from Mac to PC. Willing to take the time. Just wish Mac would continue to support their superior hardware longer. This one is three OSs behind. I can't even update to a new browser. One thing to keep in mind when you are looking for a monitor, while this does have a separate GPU Raedon 680M, this is a 2022 release and has a limited top end refresh rate of 3840x2160 @ 60Hz. I mention that so you know that while they make cheaper monitors that are 34" with a 165 refresh and higher, this card is not going to go beyond a standard 4K size and refresh rate. It maxes out at 144Hz at 2K equivalents 2560 by 1440, 3072 by 1782, and 3200 by 1800. Again, not a deal breaker for me, but it may help you when you are deciding what you need/want in your desktop.I recommend this mini-PC. If you want something that can game, I would find something in a desktop that can be upgraded. If you want a very good home computer that can do 4K and can multitask with multiple monitors, this is one will get you through, and when it gets to the end, you're not out a ton of cash.***UPDATE***I have had this PC for about two weeks. Overall, I am impressed with the performance. One thing, the fan is very loud. It comes from the size of the case and the number of components packed inside. I took the bottom off of the computer to see what was going on. When I looked at the fan and spun it, there was no resistance, no noise, nothing. I noticed when I put it back together, they had included a spring between the fan plate and the other components. When I put it back together, the spring compressed and the fan is put very close to the outside grill. There is nothing that I can see that can be done to increase the space between the fan and the grill when it's assembled. If the fan would stop making the noise I would absolutely recommend the PC. I cannot find contact information to reach out to the manufacture. Even here on Amazon. Just keep that in mind. I am going to find the box to see if its there and will update again when I can contact their customer support.
