Saw this used on YouTube to fix the same issue I had on my Rogue. WOW, saved me nearly $500 the Nissan Dealer was going to charge me. $21.00 and 15 minutes is all it took. Great solution.

I was having problems with the ac going off and on for no reason. Then it completely storp working. This is the talk of many on the nissan forums and noone had a fix. they changed out the compressor and other componets but it didn't fix the issue. I ran a system check with a scaner that could check all the functions and the readings on each system. It showed that the temperature sensor for the interior air was showing that is was 0 degrees and was shuting down the compressor ever though it was 90 degrees. This $20 dollar part that took less than 5 minutes and no tools to change saved me a trip to the dealer that would of charged me hundreds if not thousands to fix and may have not found the problem.
