This technology has better energy absorption than honeycomb. The Nolan's Long Snapper Pad takes the foundation of the innovative TAG ALT3 Series pad and tailors it to the unique needs of the Long Snapper. Designed for optimal range of motion and coupled with the state of the art NX-TEC pillared/plastic wedged shell, the Nolan's Long Snapper Pad is the most form fitting and flexible shoulder pad on the market. Credited to the NX-TEC padding, the pads are extremely lightweight but are rated the highest in energy absorption, disbursement, and overall player safety. With subarches built directly inside the mesh lining, these pads sit lower than any other pad on the market. This allows for better arm extension and between-the-leg stance visibility. In consideration of enhanced Long Snapper specific safety and mobility, the Nolan's Long Snapper Shoulder Pad includes high-dense memory foam featured in flex deltoid and clavicle pads. Credited to the innovative cut, design, and flexibility of padding, the Nolan's Long Snapper Shoulder pad allows for Long Snappers to keep to their non-restrictive "out of pads stance". This in turn results in the most optimal on-field performance for snap to catch operation times, snap location accuracy, and quickness in snap to block transition. Traditionally, Long Snappers lose approximately .03-.05 seconds in snap to catch operation times when in conventional shoulder pads.
