Wanted a good quality aluminum battery tiedown that was narrow enough to fit in between the water caps. This fit the bill perfectly just note it does not come with any J hooks it is just the upper tiedown. Hoping this will be less prone to corrosion than the steel ones.

Overall very sturdy, and will likely be the last one this car ever needs.The center of it was too wide to fit between the fill caps on the top of the battery without a very small amount of shaving of the plastic caps. Not a huge deal, but the item could have been just as durable being a 1/16" thinner IMHO. My guess is there are plenty of batteries this is not an issue for.oh, iGanja

Install was smooth and fit like a charm in my 2008 Subaru Impreza. I cannot speak for other vehicles but my guess is that it would at least work for this line of car.-It's very solid-Looks good (my opinion)-Low in cost compared to other makes out thereUltimately I needed a tie down because my OEM one had rusted out and this one fit the bill perfectly.

I didn't want anything flashy, yet something still better looking than OEM. This is perfect and looks good. It is painted, so be careful not to scratch it when installing.

Excellent quality, poor design. The mounting holes needed to be half inch wider to fit the battery. I had to modify this thing to make it fit.

Extremely sturdy, well made. I replaced a stock hold down bracket in my IS350 after installing a non OEM battery (group 24) that was just 3-4mm taller than stock and can’t use the original tie-down hardware.This looks nicer and fits securely. I put rubber strips from an inner tube under the bracket to give it some traction. If you have battery cell caps this MIGHT not fit in between them. But it should fit a variety of battery sizes
