Your cart is empty.AMS Regular Soil Probes feature a window slot in the cylinder of the probe for easy sample recovery. This soil probe has an overall length of 21" with a 12" sample slot. The soil probe has been nickel plated for added rust resistance. All AMS probes are made of a sturdy chromoly steel that prevents the probe from bending or twisting out of shape. Also included is a removable, corrosion-resistant 10" cross-handle with comfortable grips. AMS also offers the Regular Soil Probe with a replaceable tip option.

Received my order quickly.Soil probe is well made.Works very well.If soil is wet you have some problems as expected. However it cleans up easily.

I use it to take multiple soil samples from all over my lawn, then I mix the soil together to get a random soil test.

This core sampler is rugged and works as advertised. I was able to take 7+ inch samples from my yard to test soil moisture and compaction. The steel is thick and did not bend.
