This high quality Angelite is a type of blue anhydrite gypsum and these were imported by Rock Your Chakra from Peru. Their original shape is a round bumpy white geode and these pieces have been broken open to reveal the beautiful soft blue inside.
You will receive one crystal from the lot shown in the photos which is 3 inch to 3 1/2 inch and weighs 8 to 12 ounces.

Anhydrite, or anhydrous calcium sulfate, is a mineral with the chemical formula CaSO4. The color is white, sometimes greyish, bluish, or purple. When exposed to water, anhydrite readily transforms to the more commonly occurring gypsum, (CaSO4·2H2O) by the absorption of water.
