Only good for the flashlight. Neither low, nor high mode phase any dog I have tried this on. They do not show any signs of hearing anything.Buy this if you want a flashlight.

It’s working .i have 2 dogs ,burks non stop with every move in house ,or out side . with a low mode ,they come down ,now when I say no before I press ,they know ,if they not come down I will press it . couple times I press this ultrasound ,and now they obey just for no .so recommend.

This product does work on small dogs that bark alot. But after awhile they kind of seem to get use't to the noise if you use it constantly. It still is a good product and if you don't have to use it too often it will work.

I have five big dogs and one of the is a 1 1/2 year old German shepherd. She is hyper and loud, but with this she almost stops in her track and calms down.

I got this because neighbor dogs and strays can ruin a good night's sleep. I live across the street from a trucking business and these compassionate people collect strays, but aside from feeding them they leave the dogs pretty rough and free to roam. At one point I counted 9 dogs who barked at anyone who walked by.Currently the pack is way down, but this morning my cat wouldn't leave the porch. Two of the mutts were about 25 feet from my front door and approaching the cyclone fence to check out my boy.I grabbed the Bark Deterrent and pressed High. Their heads instantly went up and they stopped in their tracks. Low made them look confused. A few woofs at the cat and I hit High again. One dog mumbled a few untranslatable comments, sat down to pee, then stalked off to the truck yard. The other had already split.Other than the few confused woofs, there wasn't any barking but I could visibly tell they heard the sounds and didn't like them. If the Doggos With Attitude start another night time chorus after neighborhood quiet hours, I'll try a drive-by deterring.Same with the Doodle on the corner. He can get obnoxious if his people aren't home or they let him run around free.I like this Dog Silencer with a 50' range. It will correct the dogs, but won't create conflict with the neighbors. Thanks for a cool little peace maker!UPDATE: Works with my cat, too, when he's doing something naughty. Now he responds to "No" when he's banging on the door to go out after dark. Didn't take long to teach him with the command, the flashing light, and a short burst of high or low sound. If "no" doesn't back him off, the flashing lights will. Hardly ever have to play the sound now.Wish I'd had this when he figured out clawing the screen got me out of my chair faster than anything. If he SEES me pick up the device, he smiles and runs to me now like, "Hey Mom! How ya doin'? I'm being a good boy!"

This bark deterrent device is easy to use and compact enough to readily keep on hand. Charges quickly, and my 4 dogs respond to it at varying levels. Most just get distracted, but I have one rescue who is a bit shy and insecure who gets very fearful. Know your dogs and if this will help or hinder. This is fantastic for 1:1 walks, as I feel much safer knowing I’m protected as there’s coyotes in the area. I just struggle using this at home when one dog is barking, because I don’t want the others to feel like they’ve done something wrong too. This is definitely a good tool for the multiple dog household management as it does seem to stop barking right away, but it loses its attention spent with my dogs when used repeatedly.
