It features top-notch internal electronics, a highly effective removable reflector, a power cable, a fittings kit, a free link cable, and a choice of Arcadia Reptile HO-T5 UV-B lamps. Built with the finest electrical components, ProT5 ensures safe operation and long lamp life with protections against over-voltage, over-current, overheating, and short circuits. It is also Teflon-free and lacks any UV-absorbing reflector coatings. The ProT5 is easy to set up and can be mounted inside a vivarium, on top of a wire-mesh terrarium, or hung above or within an enclosure. The included link cable allows up to 10 units to be connected from a single power source, including the Jungle Dawn LED BAR kit. My Acadia bulb only lasted for a few months after that a second one was only working for a month before it just stopped turning on. Very disappointing I expected higher quality and less hassle.

I love arcadia products. The fixture I received looked questionable. The package of the light bulb was taped closed on the top making me assume it may have been previously used and got returned. My prior fixture I purchased a month prior did not have any indication of being used. I returned this product.

I have a baby red foot tortoise. This light works great on the little cage area. No problems with it and I really like it so far.

Bought this specifically for my chameleon but I use arcadia lights for all of my reptiles. The bulbs are highly rated and last a long time.

I love the idea behind " linking" the lights. Currently have 4 Daisy chained together all feeding off of one timed outlet

I still really like the fixture and bulb, but with it being expensive I thought the fixture would be made of more metal and less plastic. It also fits kind of weird on a screen enclosure, I end up having to put it sideways, but that likely provides better UVB coverage so it's fine, just caught me off guardAlso, the bulb is really difficult to install even after watching a YouTube tutorial from the company. Definitely has a learning curve

La marca es de buena calidad, el tubo fluorescente está hecho en Alemania, califiqué 4 estrellas porque en el instructivo menciona NO colocar la lámpara SOBRE ó CERCA de agua ( ? ). En la página oficial de Arcadia hay una sección donde tú ingresas la especie de reptil que tienes, y automáticamente aparecen los modelos que Arcadia te recomienda. Yo tengo una tortuga acuática y se me recomendó este producto,¿ mencioné que es acuática ?, acuática = agua. Este modelo y todos con los que cuenta Arcadia están hechos para especies terrestres y NO para acuáticas ( según las intrucciones y característcas del producto ). Por cierto, IP20 indica que el producto no es impermeable y NO tiene protección contra la humedad.

The first one of these I ordered did not work. But the seller quickly shipped a replacement, and I returned the broken one with free shipping. Second one works as expected.
