Do not buy. I ripped this with two fingers without much effort at all. It’s nothing better than a blue 13oz 500x500 denier banner. Will rip at the drop of a hat. Go for the heavier fabric mat-like materials

This is a very thick tarp, and works perfectly under our kids' pool. The price is the only thing I don't like about it, for the size I feel it's a bit overpriced.

My pool goes up over asphalt and this helps add an extra layer between the asphalt and the pool. No holes so far and way better than the average tarp.

I don't have another tarp to compare to this one, but it seems sturdy and thick. I currently have it folded up under a smaller pool, but I intend to use it under a large pool later. I have an aggressive lawn that needs constant attention and eats lawn blades for lunch.I will be back if this tarp fails in any way.For now, I'd mention that there is no way to hold it down in the wind before you place the pool on it, so be prepared with people or heavy items if there is even a hint of a breeze.

The tarp is exactly what we needed! The rectangle ones made it cumbersome to cut the grass around. We will definitely be purchasing again next year.
