The bobbin pole is designed to fit for most kinds of bobbins, including Type M, Type L, Type 15 (Universal), or any bobbin hole radius of 1/5 inch (0.52 cm), bobbin Maximum diameter 28mm, bobbin maximum width 11.7mm. Also works for class 15J, class 66, Bernina #0115367000, Juki 270010 bobbins, not work for Husqvarna Viking-specific bobbins.
There is not two black sensors

Setting any number of windings turns you want
- 1. Please connect the power supply, the screen of the machine will light up.
- 2. Long press the button A&B, until the first number on the screen is flickering. Then you can set up the number of winding turns you want.
- 3.Press button A to set the number 0-9, press B to pick the digit number.
- 4. Then long press the button A&B together again until the number is vanished which means the setup is successful.
- 5.Then you can press B to restart, press A to suspend.
- 6.The machine will stop automatically when finish the winding.

Supplied to the UK market with a hard wired US plug. Ludicrously poor user interface, although it does seems to wind OK. No auto shutoff. It winds a fixed number of turns, rather than going until the bobbin is full.

This item is not difficult to assemble, although the spool pin and thread holder are not able to be made very tight with the hardware included. According to some reviewers, there was a chart to show how many winds or a tension number to set for your bobbin type. Mine didn't have anything like that, nor could I find it online. Threading and starting the machine is easy. Problem: my bobbin wound thickly on the bottom, very little on top. I had to go to YouTube and finally found the answer(mostly) to making the necessary adjustments to correct the problem. "Roger's Shop" has a very good video for this. Then I still had a problem with the bobbin wanting to fly off of the winding spindle. Solved this by doing what another reviewer had done-placing an empty bobbin on top and gently holding it in place. Not ideal, but workable.

I love this thing. Something happened to the bobbin winder on my machine so I nervously purchased this and so glad I did. I can wind a lot of bobbins in a short period of time. If you’re thinking about purchasing. Do it!

absolutely perfecr ! i run a brother hs sn industrial and this winder is perfect i wish i'de have bought one years ago ! my machine has friction winder but THIS IS 1,000 X BETTER !! AWESOME PRODUCT!

The motor on this thing is comically fast. If you have a bobbin that fits and you know how many winds you want then you will be very happy with this.I specifically chose this one because it doesn’t have a restriction on bobbin width and I don’t have to rely on a sensor to stop winding. Different than most listed on Amazon.If I use 1 - and ONLY 1 - bobbin style that fits almost too snuggly then this does great but ANY variation means this thing will sling your bobbin off fast enough to break a window.The price is a little high for its limited application. I had to return the first one because the motor wouldn’t start but the return/replace process was seamless.

Instructions are translated from Chinese and are difficult to understand. Assembled the unit without too much trouble. But could not get the bobbins to wind correctly. None of the suggested settings worked for a standard plastic domestic machine bobbin for my Janome. The bobbins, when they did wind, were loose. Some of them overwound (despite adjusting the number of "turns") and ended up with a huge nest of semi-round thread which had to be discarded. Tried to adjust what looked like a tension spring with no success. I salvaged what I could, and wound new bobbins by putting the bad bobbins on to the extra spindle on my sewing machine, transferring thread from the poorly wound bobbins to new bobbins. A total waste of my time and a lot of thread.

I got this bobbin winder because I often use sewing machine, serger, and coverstitch machine for a single project: this can take up to 7 spools of thread. So instead of buying 7 spools I wind bobbins for most of them, and use the spools for loopers only.This baby makes winding bobbins SOOOO much quicker than the winder on the sewing machine! They end up very even and the tension (so far) has been great, for all the above applications (bobbin, sewing machine, serger & cover needle threads). I usually use the spools for the loopers so haven't tested that application, but have no reason to believe it would not work.This bobbin winder assembled very quickly. There are instructions (they're not stellar but they were clear enough) but were not really necessary - the assembly is pretty obvious even without instructions.The only thing to watch is that the bobbin needs to have the smaller spindle hole - L and M bobbins loaded just fine with this machine, but I tried the large Bernina bobbin (because it holds more thread), and that one didn't work at all; the spindle hole was way too big and of course didn't catch the spindle on the winder. Definitely something to keep in mind if you're going to use it like I did..Anyway, once I got a bobbin that works and holds lots of thread this bobbin winder worked really well. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Works as described. Shipping was slow. Directions for use were insulting, however, once I went to utube for clear directions, this machine works very well.
