As someone with a curvy, athletic build, I often find waistbands either too tight or too loose, but this skirt strikes the perfect balance. The waistband is wide enough to stay in place without digging into my skin, and it offers just the right amount of stretch to ensure comfort throughout my practice or routine. I ordered it in size XL, and it fits me perfectly. For reference, I’m 5'2", weigh 170 lbs, and have a curvy, athletic build, and the XL is a great fit for my body type.One of the things I appreciate most about this skirt is how versatile it is. This brand (Avidlove) has been very consistent at delivering products that have exceeded expectations.Priced reasonably, they have size charts that are easy to use (and give you a size that fits nearly every time), product is nicely finished and with fabrics that are soft smooth and a pleasure to wear - and this item is no exception.The item delivered was an "XL" and is true to the Waist and Hip measurements in the size chart. The fabric is soft, with a slightly shinny sheen, and is very stretchy in all directions. The waistband area is a double layer of the same fabric and also has a lot of stretch. (Probably could size down if you wanted a more snug fit, but that would miss the point of this style, right?)The skirt has enough 'gather' that one can pull the bottom hem out to waist height and still have it draped in the front and back. The waistband is a bit over 4" wide, and the length of just the skirt laying flat is just under 13".It's a real skirt (not a "skort" - no shorts attached under), so you can have a little fun with what you're going to show off when you spin.Great fun to spin, attractive and flattering!

This is such a cute skirt. My daughter was in dire need of skirts, and she really liked this one. The material was as expected, and so was the skirt. She liked the string on the side, which can be tied in a pretty bow. She, however did not like the way the scrunch of the waist part looked on her. It might look good for someone else, but it just isn't her cup of tea. She will definitely wear it but probably won't order more.

-What we liked - (Pros):- Double drawstring works well for adjustments- Small size fits nicely on my wife's frame,.. no need for adjustment of ironing.- Comfortable material, feels nice on the skin.- Made of 95% Polyester, 5% Spandex-Comes in Black, White, Green, Red or Pink. We bought the red color.- Cut is just above the Knee, very sexy- Really shows off female legs nicely- Great costume for adult play time or cosplay- Machine washable in cold water. I recommend hanging it to air dry.-What we didn't like - (Cons)- None that we could find- Value Level - Quality vs. Cost:- Fair Value. Quality item at a fair price for what you get. @ $13 this is a well-made skirt, and the materials do not feel cheap.

I bought this skirt as a surprise for my wife, as she had been eyeing something similar online. The material is soft and stretchy, and the design is charming in person. That said, I’ll be honest—we saw it on a model in the photos, and the fit looked a bit different when my wife tried it on. She’s not shaped like the model (which is totally normal!), and while it still looks nice on her, it doesn’t quite have the same flattering effect we hoped for. It’s a fun and flirty piece, and she said it’s comfortable to wear. I still think she looks beautiful in it.

Made of a stretchy fabric that reminds me of athletic or swim wear. I liked it but returned it due to XL being a bit too loose for my liking. Size down for a snug fit.

CUTE! BUT WARNING: This isn't your typical trendy athletic skirt with shorts underneath! It is a slick athletic type material but it does not have shorts or pockets (it is not advertised too but it definitely looks like that same style). I still love it! The waist band is forgiving and it is flowy enough for bloated days! The bows are A D O R A B L E and they are functional! I got a size LG- Waist 32-33, Hips 40-41 inches and it fits perfect.
