Got this bowl for my 12-year-old granddaughter to make her first terrarium. I wanted plastic because she can keep it in her room and there's no danger of it breaking if it were to get bumped and/or fall. The size is great for about 3 small plants and some little fairy figurines. She loves it.

...Terrarium! Easy to work in because of the large opening, we used a clear disposable plastic plate as a cover, and had a great time with the kids, teaching them about plants. Put some little dinosaurs in it, and now it is their responsibility to make sure it survives. Nicely made, looks like glass!

The bowl looks great. There is an obvious seam so if that bothers you, you may want something else. It is obvious and there are two of them which can be seen and felt.Its very clear. Most of the lack of clarity in the picture is the gravel I just added and some air bubbles forming on the surface.It will be a nice home for one of my female Betas that keeps trying (and succeeding) in killing some of her tank buddies. So time out alone for her it is!If the seam doesn't bother you, this is a good sized bowl.
