The item would start to charge and then just go out.. Only would charge for a couple of minutes and then it was done.

After two weeks the battery stopped charging thru to my phone and it had a shorter battery life than others I have used

The reason I got this phone is not only because my phone battery is always quickly draining, but because I use CarPlay constantly so it would have to work with it. Well, it did! Until it DIDN'T. Keeps disconnecting and this is aggravating while driving. You have to be very careful removing the case, too, as they warn you in the instructions that it could ruin your phone. Will be returning.
